Join us on Wednesday, October 5th for our Educational Schmoozer from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Tangram Interiors 1375 Dove St #300, Newport Beach, CA 92660. This event is sponsored by Concordia University.
On November 8th, we’ll not only pick the next leader of the free world, but we’ll also elect a new Senator to rep California, and we’ll vote on 17 (yes 17!) state ballot initiatives. These initiatives range from the legalization of Marijuana to regulation of the adult movie industry to an increase in tobacco tax. Big issues with big consequences.
To make the preparation for election day less cumbersome, on October 5th the Elite OC will host Nate Kaplan of See Political and Kamy Akhavan of ProCon to break down the election in a nonpartisan way, giving us the intel we need to make informed voting decisions. We’ll cover the big federal races and drill down on the California ballot initiatives that will affect our everyday lives.
Parking is free and complimentary food and beverages will be provided with schmoozing before and after the one hour panel. While this event is free, we are asking for members and attendees to make a small contribution to benefit our charity partners with SeePolitical and ProCon.org
