John Reed is Vice President with Succession Capital Alliance (SCA), the “Gold Standard” in advanced life insurance planning, headquartered in Newport Beach. John is a graduate of University of Cincinnati, where he studied for his BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering and his MBA.
After graduation, John launched his career in Cincinnati where he began his focus on life insurance planning. Following several years of successful personal practice, the opportunity to specialize on the high-net worth market while serving the clients of the Private Bank of Fifth Third Bancorp emerged. It was in this capacity that he used his unique ability to educate fellow advisors, in addition to clients, in the use of life insurance. This led to a partnership Directing Operations for an advanced corporate benefits planning team and eventually to becoming a Vice President with the ultra-high net worth clients of SCA. John is an active member of his community as a founder of WeBoost, Wine-Circle Secret Society, and serving as advisor to the UC Irvine chapter of Beta Theta Pi.
